SUNNY - Joe Adams on Vocals (Unpublished Version) Timmy Regisfords Mix
October 26, 2009 01:16 AM PDT
This is a song that I did on Timmy Regisfords mix of Sunny!! I always liked this song and thought Timmy did one the best versions I had heard in a long time.. After reviewing so many styles of the song that had been published. I decided to do my own version in my style. Timmy definitely did a great House version of this. Without a doubt it is one of the best. I hope you enjoy SUNNY!! Thanks For Listening!! Joe Adams The Artist!! Dancin - 7th District featuring Joe Adams the Artist!!October 26, 2009 12:09 AM PDT
This is a song that I did in Vienna Austria that was a great song. I worked with Sergio Flores and Lorenzo Depino(Sp) from 7th District on this project. The team was a great team and each of them were very talented. I enjoyed Vienna and saw some of the most amazing Architecture I have ever seen. The artistic expression in Vienna was only rivaled by Paris. Hope you enjoy this recording as much as I did making it. Dancin expresses a real deep side of me from my roots in the clubs in NY, NJ, DC, and Chi Town, Atlanta GA, Main, Paris, Aix-en-Provence, Marseilles, Nice..just to name a few spots I have partied in, that left lasting impressions on me. I can remember clearly when Sergio first introduced this song to me and ask me what did I think. I was so inspired by the uplifted musical style and the lyrical content that matched my character so well. Most of the time was spent in the studio recording and mixing the track. Oh and Thanks Lorenzo for the many tours of the city, and for showing me a great time in Vienna!! It was a great experience. Anyway, its getting late I just wanted to take PodOmatic to Vienna with me for a moment. Later, I got to get some sleep. Its 3:30am and I am up droppin tunes on PodOmatic.. That's what's up!! Watch Out Now!! Thanks 7th District!! Peace!! Joe Adams The Artist Don't Stop (Distance Music Remix)August 08, 2009 09:20 PM PDT

About RegitAs the owner of Regit Smada Productions, my primary focus is to keep House Music live and Pumpin. I enjoy educating artist on the business of music too as much as I can from my own mistakes. My songs and style are written and come from the deeper parts of me and reflect my experiences in living House from back in the day. I like the oldies but the new Neo Soul sound is Hot too. I love music in general not only House but when it is time to party, I like House cause it makes you sweat and get deep in a groove that can relieve alot of stress and take you to a place where the only thing your thinking about is music. I can remember back in the day coming out of Club Zanzibar in Newark at dawn with my ears buzzing after dancing all night to Tony Humphrey and rushing to get to work, falling asleep on the job and crashing when I got home, just to go out again the next night. Those were the days, hangin out at Club Shelter in NY, being there on opening night and dancin til noon with Timmy Regisford on the mix. I mean back in the day when it was outside the Holland Tunnel. Uptown too, but outside the Tunnel was hot as hell before it grew into what it has become today. I can remember when Anne Nesby came to the Shelter and brought Stevie Wonder with her. He was just hangin out, and said he was there to listen. That was the first club that I met Grace Jones. Getting even deeper I can remember 21 Hudson when the Fire Marshal would come and shut the place down, the Sound Factory with Junior Vasquez, he use to love my single at that time when I recorded Liar with Big Beat. He loved the Devil Dub and would play the full version. Craig Kallman was so cool. He kept me performing at the hottest clubs in NY from the Palladium to the Red Zone to the New Music Seminars. I can remember the Garage with Larry spinnin, hangin on the roof and in the movie room. Watchin Evelyn Santos keeping everyone's spirit in the mix, making sure the focus was on the party, adorned in Turquoise Jewelry, i use to love the party atmosphere. Watchin Vamp on the screen droppin down from the ceiling while the lights and crowd reached a fevered pitch thick ass fog filling the room. Dancin with Sabrynaah all night going to breakfast and back home to sleep all day and back out again that night tired but fueled by thinking we were going to miss somethin if we didn't make the party, and so many time if you were not there you would miss somethin. Those days are all memories that led me into making house music. The Tunnel with all the rooms and different music. Nails with the craziest crowd. I remember goin way back, Recording with Dj International in Chicago, working with Joe Smooth, Sterling Void, Tyree Cooper. I can remember Touring with Sandy Rivera in the South of France in Neice where the hotel lights came on when you walked in the hall, bangin into the wall and swelling my top lip, packing ice on it for hours cause I had 2 shows that night. Sandy laughed like hell at me.. It really was funny though.. I am so country, and know it. Working with 7th District out of Vienna Austria, seein the Trains made by BMW. They were the banginest trains I ever saw. Those were the days. Performing at the Moulon Rouge nightclub. Now I am still loving the music and appreciate all the people that are striving to keep the art of House alive. I write all types of music and enjoy a real party scene, not one where everybody is stiff, but a party when there is baby powder on the floor, plenty of drums and bass, and people are gettin real ugly cause they are lost in the music and don't give a damn about what you think about the way they look while they are dancin. Regit Smada Productions is into Feelin the deeper side of House. Educating New Artist. Loving the Vibe. Being In the Vibe. That is where you will find me. Thanx for reading all this spill.. I am Joe Adams the artist... It is 2:05am, I am goin to bed dammit. But first I am going to finish listening to this new mix by King Lion (Chi Town pt2/ this is house: you killen em King!!).
